Len Parris

The owner of Chandler Reach Vineyards and Estate Winery, who started his wine career in 1997, has a varied background. Len has a construction background dating back to the 1970’s. Currently he owns and operates a coffee business in the Seattle area. Inspired by a trip to Tuscany in 1997, Len developed a plan to bring that wine “romance” to Washington State. Len is active in the daily operation of the 42 acre vineyard and the winery.

Richard Corella

As sales manager and marketing director, Richard has been instrumental in the success of Chandler Reach. Bringing 30 years of sales experience to the team, he is responsible for the success of Chandler Reach in the marketplace. Richard also possesses a great deal of cooking knowledge, which serves as a key to establishing restaurant relationships. His insight and quick study of the wine industry coupled with his tireless effort and can-do attitude continue to be the wineries key to success.

Shelbey Sawyer

Shelbey is from the lower valley and graduated from WSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration.  After 11 years in catering sales, working for companies like Microsoft, Boeing, Marriott, Hyatt Hotels and Schwartz Brothers, she decided to switch gears and jump in to the wine industry.  As General Manager for Chandler Reach Winery, Shelbey is responsible for everything from marketing and promotions to planning winery events and managing an ever-growing wine club!  She lives in the Tri-Cities and enjoys watching her three year old son play t-ball and soccer.  She has a deep passion for wine and food and can usually be seen with both!

Roberto and Sarah Palencia

The daily operations of the vineyard are managed by Roberto. His wife Sarah helps his efforts and is the best right-hand person we’ve ever seen. We are very fortunate to have such high quality people at Chandler Reach. Roberto has 17 years of vineyard experience and independently manages the daily challenges the vineyard throws his way. Since the winery project started, Roberto has helped throughout every project. Construction, farming, and vineyard work have been the tasks at hand. It wouldn’t be the same without the
two of them.

Lenita Jane Parris

By far the greatest asset to the entire winery operation, co-owner Jane has supported the team in every aspect of the development. Jane has an uncanny sense of what really works in the retail area of the business. She is responsible for the retail image of the tasting room and was decorator “in-charge” of the Villa. Jane’s tireless effort throughout this project, from the bottling, labeling, selling, tasting and shipping has been amazing. Jane’s background in the airline industry and her trained sense of style and customer service are extremely valuable to Chandler Reach.
