o July 8 - A magnum tasting and winemaker dinner at Waterfront Seafood Grill lure the serious wine lover with rare selections while thrilling violinist Geoffrey Castle entertains. Meanwhile, across the street, 14 coveted, small-lot wine producers offer barrel tastings while L.A.'s DJ Machete lays down beats under the stars at the Olympic Sculpture Park during Vinolution 14. Full evening of all activities, $350; Vinolution tickets only, $65-75.

o July 9 - The final affair takes over Bell Harbor Conference Center's Maritime Events Center, with auctioneer John Curley presiding over exciting wine-related packages for bid, a sunset barbecue dinner from Chef Peter Levine of Waterfront Seafood Grill, and rockabilly on the rooftop with the Dusty 45s. Honorees are Kay Simon and Clay Mackay of Chinook Winery. $350 and up.
